Refund Policy
If Crisp does not work for you, email us within 30 days of purchase and we will refund you. You do not need to give a reason.
Crisp is published by Kerr & Company LLC, a Michigan limited liability company. Payments are processed by a merchant of record, which is the seller on your receipt and the party that issues the refund. Since 20 August 2026 that is Dodo Payments; purchases made before then went through Polar, and a Polar receipt is still refunded by Polar. Your receipt names whichever one you bought from.

How to request a refund
Email support@crispvideo.app from the address you purchased with, or use your receipt email. Include your licence key if you have it. Refunds are issued to the original payment method through whichever merchant of record sold you the licence — Dodo Payments for purchases from 20 August 2026, Polar before that — and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. You do not need to work out which one: email us and we will action it.
Try before you buy
Crisp is free to use without a licence. The free tier runs the full editor and the standard enhancement lanes; exports carry a small "Made with Crisp" watermark. We would rather you confirm Crisp does what you need before paying than rely on a refund afterwards.
UK and EU customers
You normally have a 14-day right to cancel a purchase of digital content. Because Crisp is supplied immediately on purchase, you are asked to acknowledge at checkout that supply begins right away and that you therefore lose that statutory cancellation right once it does. Our 30-day policy above is offered voluntarily and is more generous than the statutory minimum, so in practice you are not worse off.
After a refund
We would rather be straight with you about what does and does not happen on the Mac you already activated: Crisp checks a licence when you activate a Mac and not continuously, because the app is built to run with no network at all and never phones home. So Pro on that Mac does not switch itself off, and we are asking you not to keep using it rather than relying on a check that would contradict the way the app works. The free tier keeps the whole editor and every standard enhancement lane; exports carry a small watermark. Files you already exported remain yours to keep and use.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before raising a chargeback — we will almost certainly just refund you, and it is faster for both of us.
